#1. About EvilAngel
Created in the late 1980s by John Stagliano (Buttman) himself, Evil Angel (or EvilAngel) is a porn studio that invented the Gonzo genre. Need I say more? They are the pioneers of porn, constantly pushing the envelope, and as usual, your proof is in the pudding. Evil Angel was also one of the first studios to push 4K porn.
What’s the difference between POV and Gonzo porn? If porn actors acknowledge the cameraman (by looking at the lens, for example) or through a random interview with a porn director, you could count that as Gonzo porn. The camera guy may also talk or make other sounds. In POV, it’s just a point of view porn where you are the show's main star.

Having never used Evil Angel before, my first thought was a direct comparison to Netflix. From layout and features to filters. Except for the awful trailers that take half of your screen and autoplay without warning. These are not here, and let’s thank them for that.
You must visit the “videos” link as the homepage lacks visible filters. However, once this step is completed, visitors are presented with great options.
The layout itself is beautiful. You have inviting thumbnails and pornstar names below thumbnails, and more goodies. The sample content starts playing as soon as you move your mouse! I don’t mean random rotating screencaps, but a smooth video from the scene.
Okay, now, let's move on to another advantage of this site. You don’t know what was missing from your life until you experience it. That’s the case with Evil Angel, as it eradicates every other network.
#3a. Content Filters
Forget tag filters, pornstar names, and categories! Sure, they are here like every other porn site, but Evil Angel takes things much further. You can filter by porn directors, scene quality and length, sexual preferences (bisexual, transsexual, or straight), as well as DVD series.
I don’t care about the last one, but not having to type “4K” and then waste time scanning through tags is awesome. You can filter inside a filter and find hidden gems of a specific pornstar or porn director. Alternatively, you can take an easy way out and sort by most engaging, most viewed, or latest. There's one issue, though. You can't filter pornstars by tags.
#4. Video Player & Streaming Experience
Every click defaults to a full scene, while trailers play automatically after you click the phrase above. There’s no lag, and video seeks takes just a few seconds, even with 4K porn. A progress bar mouse-over shows a thumbnail from that moment, which means you can quickly find what you want. Viewers may also adjust the quality or appreciate the download options.
The clean layout features hand-picked thumbnails, pornstars’ names, long descriptions, categories, and a comment section with threaded replies.
With 4K quality and fast loading times, I did not even care about downloads. The player did an excellent job of providing a better-than-average experience. However, there are two areas where it lacks, at least compared to Brazzers. First is the ability to click on any scene tags and start your porn experience from where the tagged things happen. It might ruin porn for some as there’s no longer the element of surprise, but it's a must for a supersite like Evil Angel.
Lastly, the volume controls aren’t perfect, and you’re better off using your computer’s slider. It’s one of those sites where it feels like the first 90% of the volume curve as you push down does close to nothing, and during the last 10%, it goes almost silent. There is no Spotify for music, so having a larger area to control the lower bell curve is a must. Most people watch their porn at a lower volume anyway.
However, it crushes other sites in the user experience and filter options.

I’ve tried downloading multiple videos simultaneously and noticed no limitations. Evil Angel server speeds were impressive at 35 MB/s, maxing out my connection.

Shooting styles depend on the porn director, and color gamma is good but not the best. Some videos had more grain than I’m used to or exposure levels not calibrated to my taste. But don’t get me wrong; Evil Angel still beats 9 out of 10 sites in the regular porn area. In addition, grain complaints are likely only valid on larger displays.
However, 4K quality content is not crisp despite a decent bitrate. I’d say it’s average and below some of the top sites specializing in 2160p porn only. A similar-length movie here uses 2x or 3x times less disk space. In other words, don’t expect to see a massive difference, and not every new video rocks 4K resolution, either.
On the other hand, audio is capped at 192 kbps for all but 4K media. For some bizarre reason, the soundtrack quality of 4K scenes was only 128 kbps in 80% of the recent videos I’ve tested, with others reaching 192 kbps. Did it sound any different? No. Will you notice a difference? No. Should 4K porn come in the highest possible audio bitrate? Yes.
#6. Porn Content & Performers
Look around and see our content breakdown by numbers. That’s all you need to know. Evil Angel is all about hardcore porn, and their scenes are miles above every other mainstream porn site. You can always filter out shemales, bisexuals, and whatnot, but you need to be aware of their audience preferences.
Gonzo, casual butt sex and anal gapes, lots of deepthroating, you name it. What I appreciate the most is the number of different porn directors, making it so much easier to filter content close to your heart. Open any other porn site, and you get to see pornstars; there’s no focus on directors and their style. If the first three scenes you test suck, canceling membership is a given.
Evil Angel, on the other hand, teaches you to appreciate different shooting styles or scenarios, which is extremely rewarding. I’ll break down their names later.
But there are also annoyances - for example, some 4K DVD labels were misleading. For instance, the latest “Sex Dollz” cover art featured a 4K logo, but download and streaming options didn’t go past Full HD. The same goes for “Sex Massages,” “Teen Ants,” and other DVDs. Keep in mind that these were late 2019 uploads! On my 4th attempt, I found a gangbang DVD with a 4K download option.
#6a. Update Frequency
Expect multiple weekly updates, sometimes more than one upload every 24 hours. There were 13 new uploads in the last seven days.
#6b. Porn Directors
Just hit CTRL+F and see if you find some of your favorites (including a # of scenes). Chances are, however, that the director’s appreciation and consideration are new territory for you. That was my own experience too.

You can’t review Lamborghini without mentioning Ferrari (the quality we’re dealing with here), and I must mention the other big player. On a grand scale of things, I think that Brazzers has better male performers for regular porn scenes. There are exceptions, but my argument remains valid regarding percentages.
Female pornstars are high caliber, matching every other premium porn site at the top and possibly beating some in sheer numbers. From Riley Reid or Angela White and other professionals to some amateurs. Think of a name, and she’ll be there.

There are no bonus sites per se since you can access a full range of videos from the vast Evil Angel network. It might sound like a con, but when there are daily updates and gazillions of scenes from different directors, it doesn’t matter.
However, you can see different channels that allow you to filter content by niche and series. Be it “Anal Acrobats”, “Buttman” or “Rocco Siffredi”.
#9. Conclusion
If you like hardcore-focused content or have found your favorite porn director, Evil Angel is an easy recommendation. While there are lesbian scenes and a few soft bits, this network is for the crowd of hardcore porn that’s on the darker side.
The proof is in the pudding; transsexuals, bisexuals, and more gaped assholes than you can count. If you prefer less hardcore anal or casual vaginal, this isn’t your bus stop; stick with mainstream sites like Brazzers.
