#1. About HentaiFox
Since the HentaiFox network has been split, we need to discuss two. The hentai manga site HentaiFox.com has thousands of high-res comic scans that sugarcoat every filthy mind fantasy you can come up with. The HentaiFox.TV, on the other hand, hosts videos and only videos.
#2. First Impressions
Both sites are HentaiFox.com as well as HentaiFox.TV looks identical, and that’s a big problem. Open both at once and then try to figure out which is which. Some might stick to either videos or comics, but why not have any distinguishing features? Also, since the logo is as tiny as a flea, not to mention a lack of text, just the icon, it’s even harder. That’s like stumbling upon a blog with a default WordPress template only to be redirected to the same replica. If that’s not lazy, then we have no idea what that is. However, HentaiFox by itself (either domain) looks like a well-thought-out site. I guess they just couldn’t be bothered to do something different. It isn’t unique to HentaiFox; plenty of porn networks like RealityKings and Mofos have identical layouts. In that case, however, the designs are different.
The HentaiFox for comics site isn’t as pretty as its video-sharing brother, partly due to uneven thumbnails. The latest posts, as an example, all are uneven, showing different resolutions, dimensions, or whatever you call this thing. I often talk about the sense of unity, which is why HentaiFox doesn’t win any points. Also, it’s interesting how HentaiFox only links to the videos section in the footer. No header links, no ads, nothing; that’s a weird way to “promote” your sister site. Maybe they don’t want you to know that HentaiFox has videos, too?
#3. Content & User Experience
For starters, around 5,000 full-length hentai videos and episodes are up to HD quality, but you can't download them. They are gathered from outside sources, so you get three embedded links from different hosting sites like OpenLoad.co or Sendit Cloud, in addition to videos on HentaiFox.TV, there are over 70,000 free hentai comics. I promise this doesn’t sound as confusing, but those drawn cartoons are on HentaiFox.com, not the TV domain. As for hentai, one may find everything in color, black and white, and often high-res.
HentaiFox visitors may read them in a viewer or download the whole thing once you complete a free registration. Regarding variety, there's virtually anything you could imagine here, including controversial content such as brown goo images, crazy other categories that you can’t even name, and so on. In addition, the video portion of HentaiFox has sections for anal, censored, dark skin, facial, fantasy, and cosplay, among many others. There’s also a menu item for series only, which is neat.
The main thing you'll have to contend with on this site are all the pop-ups, especially if you're trying to watch a video, so turning on your adblocker will do wonders. To navigate content on Hentai Fox, visitors can do a basic search or check out sections for videos, parodies, characters, and artists and hit the random button. The comic reader comes with shortcuts; you can rate your favorite content without registering. Another interesting feature is the blacklist, where you can add tags and content you don't want to see in searches and lists. Finally, there's a small forum with many members but relatively few active ones and posts.
#4. Conclusion
Is it good? Is it bad? It’s a nice, universally tailored combo. It's a shame about the identical design, though.
