#1. About JAVGG
Despite a recent launch date, JAVGG already has more awesome Asian adult movie titles than its key competitors. Yes, it is a free porn movie library with quality that goes up to 1080p, solid loading speeds, and pop-up ads. The latter is not that big of a deal, so you should not sleep on JAVGG.net.
#2. First Impressions
The design of JAVGG is pleasant, although relatively simple. I like websites that don’t make you question anything, and just by the thumbnails alone, it’s easy to figure out JAVGG. For example, the starting page or the homepage, if you will, shows DVD movie covers. So, you can almost guarantee that its either a torrent site full of juicy content or a movie tube. So, which of the following is JAVGG? It’s a video tube that hosts full titles. That’s what you get from the first impressions, and just like that, you know whether you should stay or leave the place. Why? Because as you know, the topic of free full movies is sensitive. I don’t know if JAVGG has a deal with the studios and if all its content is legitimate or whatever else is happening, but as consumers, we shouldn’t worry about that anyway.
Following the cool look, JAVGG.net also has a dark side, although I’ll tell you about the annoyances in the next part of my review. The design itself is a mix of black and white and colorful thumbnails that are constantly updated. You can also tell from the first few steps that JAVGG is not running on a hardcore script tailored to the video experience. Why? The features seem lackluster and don’t have all the bells and whistles. These are movie previews after you push the mouse on top of the thumbnail or a video player showing you full titles before you click. Maybe this part is broken or requires a better connection because the “template” is here. By that, I mean that if you play with the mouse on the video progress bar, the small thumbnail pops up, except it’s always blank.
#3. Content & User Experience
As you’ve all been waiting for the meat and potatoes of JAVGG, here’s where this site wins and struggles. First, I don’t know if the videos are hosted on their site because there are various tricks to make it seem like you’re streaming from your domain; if we ignore the hidden trickery, it appears that JAVGG hosts its content. That’s a massive benefit because third-party sites are rarely updated. In other words, older posts are often broken, and new embedded videos are never added. It does take 5 to 10 seconds for the media play to kick in, but you soon forget about that. At least the “jumping between different parts” bit is fast and seamless. Also, the admin himself (or herself) notifies that loading speeds aren’t the best. Maybe they need more revenue from ads to get that sweet server running better with upgrades or such.
So, this all sounds great since the collection, too, is of decent size. But as I was talking about revenue bits, JAVGG made a mistake by pushing too many ads. I don’t mean banners or something along those lines because those banners aren’t as annoying. Instead, you should expect a new ad to open in the background windows with almost every click. It is that bad, and yes, we did downgrade many sites in the past for this very trick. However, in JAVGG’s defense, the bandwidth that they likely need to host and stream all the DVDs is massive and doesn’t compare with cheap tubes that just want to dump embed clips from third party sites.#4. Conclusion
I think that JAVGG is as great as free Asian site offers can get minus the quantity that is always improving and the annoyances with pop-unders. Those seem excessive, and I’d very much prefer to have less of those, but this is the price to pay for free.
