A porn torrent site JavJunkies.org (previously JavJunkies.com), is where you download full JAV DVD movies. Their archives go back ten years and contain thousands of free Japanese porn films. The site has changed its domain name and is back online, so like with every torrent site, bookmark this page so you know what the new URL is!
#2. First Impressions
When browsing torrent sites, there’s always a risk as you don’t know whether the site is down or not. That was the case for me with JavJunkies, so I went online and had to find a new address. After that, I was ready to be blown away, but it’s not all Japanese pussies and rainbows if you know what I mean.
JavJunkies, a cool-sounding domain, doesn’t have a cool-looking website. It likely uses one of the oldest systems out there and perhaps, just my guess, some PHPBB forum script. If not, then the design certainly looks like one.
#3. Torrents & User Experience
The torrents at JavJunkies are divided according to date, month, and year. There's no easy way to tell you the total number of movies available, but sometimes, the admins post up to 50 entries per day. When you factor in that JavJunkies has been online since August 2009, you have thousands of files to download.
As for JavJunkies’ videos are DVD rips, so expect excellent quality, but there is no way to preview or stream anything, not even screenshots. Also note that you can find some Western porn DVDs here from the likes of Digital Playground, for instance. Based on the tag cloud on the front page, there's everything here from creampies, schoolgirls, faux incest, nurses, and public sex, to lesbian action, maids, double penetration, and squirting.
Besides many pop-ups, JavJunkies has a problem with navigation and organizing its content. Pagination is the worst of any kind, with just a few posts per page, making it impossible to navigate. Besides that, JavJunkies allows you to list content based on day, month, and year, look for it with a basic search, or pick popular tags from a tag cloud. Additionally, there's a monthly top 10, and a monthly top 20 of JAV idols, but no pornstar index. The DVDs are listed as relatively large thumbs and in Japanese. Furthermore, JavJunkies’s thumbnails don't have tags when you hover over them, only the file size, leading actress name, and the number of files, so you have to squint and look at the thumb to see what the DVD is about.
#4. Conclusion
There's no doubt that JavJunkies has a massive assortment of JAV porn DVD torrents, but the poor navigation, limited sorting features, and a general lack of info for each torrent makes this site hard to use.
