It's one of the better-looking sites in this niche, especially when the last five or so we’ve reviewed had nothing but the design from the 19th century. Of course, nothing is partially amazing, but again, look at SexStories or ASSTR and you’ll know in a second why we’re happy. Could this be one of the epic discoveries of the year? I hope so.
The top bar of LushStories features a dark red bar followed by a minimal logo that we love and some links. Also, a green join now button that you want to click. It’s rare to see a sex story site pushing for registrations, but that’s what LushStories admins do. Then, a giant banner advertising forums followed by an invitation to write your own story. What helps this site to look fresh is a no-nonsense layout that even features pictures for categories. It’s not a never-heard concept, but other sites with stories went for text only, nothing else. LushStories organizes itself in a tube-like way, and that’s why you aren’t repulsed by navigation or an index page. Sadly, the tubes have many negatives, too, and LushStories is not immune to those; at least, that’s the impression we’re getting from various advertising spots.

Typical of websites of this kind, LushStories offers a range of categories and thousands of stories, more than 48,000 to be precise. You can either enjoy others' work or submit your own. LushStories site categories include sexy audio stories, anal, gay male content, humor, horror, love stories, and poems, among many others. LushStories.com has a somewhat dated design but manages to pack a lot of functionality into it. However, the biggest drawback comes in the shape of ads. Not just weird “chatroom” links that ask you to join while showing an odd sex-cam site GIF, but ads inside the stories. Despite the clean design, LushStories ruins the reading experience with ads in the middle of a text. It breaks your immersion, which is probably the biggest con for me.
We did, however, enjoy the word count indicators and story stats, and some even head a “series” dropdown menu, which means that it’s easy to find related content. For example, Unlike Nifty or Literotica, where you relied on author comments with links, LushStories incorporated a helpful feature that is a no-brainer.
So, as you’ve learned by now, this story-driven site is a mix of good and evil, just like everything else in life. But it’s about a complete package, right? Everything is straightforward; users can sort content differently, including by views, popularity, and date. Each story listed has a preview and valuable information like tags, category, and number of words. As a member, you can post your work, create a profile, directly contact other registered users, rate stories, and leave comments, but also post on the official forum. Other features exclusive to members are the live chat room, access to audio sex stories, an archive, and various competitions.
