#1. About OHentai
The streaming site OHentai.org offers a collection of hentai and 3D porn in up to Full HD resolution; that’s 1080p in standard terms. Since launching in 2016, this place collects and then embeds links from around the web, so you don't have to and lets you pick the source.
#2. First Impressions
It’s unknown how someone can “dig” the looks, but we dig OHentai design or, more specifically, a layout. There’s a unifying, even appearance with super large thumbnails (3 per column), a picture-rich sidebar, and links to OHentai Discord chat. While scene pictures remain static no matter what, they do show minimalistic details, like whether the upload is “raw” or “subbed.” Still, you can’t help but be impressed with the OHentai, especially since the thumbnail quality is sublime. So, that’s the first part of the story, but there’s more to cover.
There’s nothing wrong with advertising, but OHentai pushes everything to extreme levels that you feel exploited. But let’s get back to the look! Our first video stream wasn’t problematic, nor were there other issues. The media player itself is basic and can’t come close to the modern players of the greatest porn sites. That’s just the trend we’ve seen on many other hentai sites as well as casual sites that host amateur content. Why is that the case? Don’t ask; those people must either not care or don’t have the resources to implement something cool.
#3. Content & User Experience
OHentai embeds many thousands of videos, many of them in full-episode form. Around 2,000 are uncensored hentai, and you get about the same number of 3D porn videos. The list of categories includes things like big boobs, mind break, MILF, blowjob, and game CGI porn. You can also go more in-depth on the tags page with gender bender, cosplay, alien, horror, comedy, and bondage content, among other things. All the videos are HD on OHentai, but there is also a 1080P category where you'll find ~200 Full HD clips. However, clicking on that category or many others will interrupt your vibe with over-the-top ads that sneakily pop up in the background.
When it’s time to do business, visitors may pick between three hosts, including OpenLoad.co, but one or two links don't work most of the time. Also, there's no option to adjust streaming settings, even though you can download them. However, be cautious when saving files to your computer. Finally, as you might expect, OHentai has quite a lot of pop-ups, so at least use an adblocker. Although even then, those nasty background tabs will keep opening, at least with AdBlock Plus and a default browser blocker.
Navigating the OHentai site could be simple thanks to a list of categories, tags, a few common filters, and a basic search feature. Yet the advertising, again, I’m saying this for the third time because of how badly OHentai does it; browsing is frustrating. As for user features, those include comments and likes or favorites, but that's about it. As a nice bonus, you can join a Discord chat group, which, at the time of writing this review, had 178 users online. Finally, using the mobile site is probably not a good idea because of the pop-ups.
#4. Conclusion
OHentai.org has a small but higher quality collection of hentai, game CGI, and 3D game porn which you can watch or download, and a solid set of sorting options. It embeds videos using outside sources, so expect some broken links and many pop-ups. Too many, to be fair.
