#1. About PicHunter
Just like ClipHunter, PicHunter is a free, 2001-founded website dedicated to awesome adult pictures, whereas its counterpart, ClipHunter, is focused on both galleries as well as videos. Among the thousands of galleries and images available, your dick will get hard from tranny, gay, straight, and lesbian content, homemade sets, stills from videos, and loads of pornstars.
#2. First Impressions
Continuing my ClipHunter to PicHunter comparison, I see that the latter isn’t as polished and struggles with user experience. The ads are a separate subject that will be extensively covered, but other parts have had some technical or other issues as well. The best part of PicHunter is revealed on the homepage, and it’s the only solid area. A “no bs” banner at the top that promises porn and then beautiful, high-quality images of categories. These are randomized and not sorted alphabetically, at least for now, but that’s okay. For a deeper porn viewing experience, a categories link will suit you fine. There are so many categories that you’ll get lost in time. Sissy, shy, shemale toons, Asian massages, that’s how vast this section yes. You can find duplicates like double or dp, but nothing too extreme. Also, some of the listings don’t make sense.
As an example, I’ve clicked on the camel toe section and was expecting solid pussy shows with panties on. Instead, those were mostly just pictures with random pussies, sometimes tits, and the category thumbnail also showed breasts. Some of PicHunter’s sections look disorganized and require major reconstruction, but this impression is false, and you’ll have to read further to understand why.
#3. Content & User Experience
Content numbers are hard to come by, but there are easily over 100,000 galleries on PicHunter. As mentioned before, categories are unlimited and include granny, mature, girlfriends, pool, point of view, pregnant, erotic, whatever. There's no shortage of HD-quality images and galleries, but most are standard quality. You can download pictures, but you must do it one photo at a time. A lot of PicHunter’s content comes from studios and premium sites, but there are also many real homemade porn pics.
Unfortunately, PichHnter.com is not the most accessible site to use. It feels clunky and somewhat complicated when you filter and search for content. Besides a list of categories, there's also a pornstars index with a content overview and some useful tags. The final section includes a list of all the studio and their galleries with the ability to sort them alphabetically or list every entry under numbers or a particular letter. Whichever page you go to or open, you'll notice annoying GIF ads loading and moving the content. There's also a banner between PicHunter’s gallery thumbs and a pop-up when moving through the slideshow. Follow their approach if you want to know how to ruin first or final impressions. Yes, that’s sarcasm because even if the adult site is free, there shouldn’t be many ads.
Newcomers will need help getting used to the PicHunter and its approach to displaying galleries. Due to the many banners and messy layout, I needed just as much clarification. It took me five tries until I realized the site was working properly. All the thumbnails I’ve clicked on failed to load; the titles and related images did, but not the image I’ve opened. What’s the catch? The image you click has little to do with the rest of your gallery experience because it won’t be loaded by default. Instead, you get an entire gallery at the bottom or middle of PicHunter’s page; one of those pictures is one from the “featured” section. It’s so confusing because some thumbnails don’t even load if you’re on AdBlock and look like white rectangles. Yes, I’ve blocked ads because it was too much for me.
#4. Conclusion
Even though Pichunter.com has a lot of great content, where it falls short is in the user interface and sorting options. The ads can also be more than annoying.
